KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Uses a bimetallic strip that snaps open at the action temperature. The circuit remains disconnected until manually reset by pressing a button (4-6N force recommended). Requires temperature to decline by 20°C before resetting. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type: Uses a bimetallic strip that automatically resets and resumes operation when temperature declines to the reset point.
