The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs snapping into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close circuits. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. When reaching action temperature, the disc snaps to disconnect. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature drops ~20°C. Ensure ≥20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type: Also uses bimetallic strip. Automatically resets when temperature drops to specified point without manual intervention.
