Temperature Controlled Switch Temperature Protector Thermal Protector
BW-ABS serial universal and enhanced protectors with large metal casing are composed of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable. In case of abnormal operation, when environment temperature increases to the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action to open the contact point and disconnect the circuit. When cooled to safe operating temperature, the contact point automatically closes to restore normal operation.

Operation Types
- Manual reset type: When temperature reaches action range, bimetallic strip disconnects circuit. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature declines 20°C. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover.
- Auto reset type: Automatically resets and resumes operation when temperature declines to safe level.
