The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts, either opening or closing the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, long service life, and reduced radio interference.

Manual Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip that disconnects at set temperature. Requires manual button press to reset after temperature drops by 20°C. Requires 4-6N force for reset. Minimum 20.4mm clearance needed between reset button and cover.

Auto Reset Type: Automatically reconnects circuit when temperature drops to reset point without manual intervention.

Widely used for temperature control in household appliances including coffee pots, toasters, laminators, electric kettles, steam guns, irons, warmers, microwave ovens, and water dispensers.
