Thermal Protector KSD9700 Temperature Protector Temperature Controlled Switch
The KSD9700 series thermostat features universal and enhanced protectors with large metal casing. It consists of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point, conductive bracket, insulation fixation stand, fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable. During abnormal operation, when environment temperature reaches the set value, the bimetallic parts perform quick action to open the contact point and disconnect the circuit. When cooled to safe operation temperature, the contact point automatically closes to resume normal operation.

Applications
The H20 and H21 series temperature protectors are suitable for rechargeable batteries, ballasts, massagers, micro motors, transformers, electric tools, heat electric appliances and instruments.
Operation Types
- Manual reset type: When temperature reaches the action range, the bimetallic strip quickly disconnects. The contact point cannot reset until manually pushing the reset button after temperature declines by 20°C. (Note: Apply 4-6N force for reset. Maintain at least 20.4mm distance between reset button and cover.)
- Auto reset type: The contact point automatically resets and resumes operation when temperature declines to a fixed point.
