KSD301 Bimetal Thermostat Temperature Controller with 250V 16A 0-250℃ Range and 100000 Cycles Life
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates the internal contacts, ultimately connecting or disconnecting the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature settings, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended operational lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strips. When temperature reaches the action range, the disc snaps quickly and disconnects the movable contact. The contact cannot reset automatically when temperature declines; instead, the circuit must be reconnected by manually pressing the reset button.
- Reset occurs when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing reset button
- Recommended force: 4-6 N (avoid excessive strength)
- Minimum distance between reset button and cover: 20.4mm for proper function
