The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates the internal mechanism to open or close the circuit. KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type:
Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. When temperature reaches the action range, the disc snaps open. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature drops 20°C from action point. Ensure minimum 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type:
Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. Automatically resets when temperature drops to specified point without manual intervention.
