The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates the internal contacts, which in turn opens or closes the electrical circuit. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended service life, and reduced radio interference.

• Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. The contact point cannot reset until the reset button is pressed manually, even when temperature declines. (Note: This type can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing the reset button with 4-6 N force. Ensure at least 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.)
• Auto Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. When temperature declines to a fixed point, the contact point automatically resets and resumes operation.
