The KSD301 temperature protector operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action with temperature changes. This snap action activates the internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, long service life, and low radio interference.

Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Requires pressing a reset button to reconnect the circuit after temperature drops approximately 20°C from the action point. Recommended reset force is 4-6N.
Auto Reset Type: Automatically reconnects when temperature drops to the reset point without manual intervention.
