KLIOXN 17AM Motor Thermal Protection Switch Stainless Steel Shell Model

The KLIXON 17AM thermal protector operates by allowing current to flow through the KLIXON bimetal and two contacts. When the appliance malfunctions, causing ambient temperature or current to become too high, the bimetallic reed activates quickly at the protection temperature to cut off the circuit. When the temperature drops to the reset temperature, the KLIXON bimetallic springs quickly close again to restore circuit operation.

This compact, fast-acting, thermally activated device is widely used in thermal protection technology to protect various components. It provides over-temperature and thermal protection for motors, pumps, transformers, lighting systems, equipment, and similar electrical appliances.
