98% Light Transmittance AR tempered Glass / Anti Reflective Glass for Electronic Displays

AR glass, or anti-reflective glass, means high-enhanced coated glass or anti-reflective coated glass. Mainly based on nanoporous silica technology, a special chemical film layer is coated on the surface of the glass to reduce the reflectivity of the glass surface and improve the transmittance of sunlight. After the AR film is applied, the light transmittance of the generally ultra-white glass can be increased from about 94% to 98%. At the same time, the direct light reflectance of the glass surface decreased from about 8% before uncoated to about 1% after coating. The combination of AR and TCO coating can greatly improve the conversion efficiency and power generation of solar modules.
