Operating Principle
The hot-air drying kiln utilizes combustion-generated heat energy to warm the air within the kiln chamber. A main air blower positioned at the top of the hot air furnace draws air from the kiln into the furnace body through pipes for heating, then distributes the heated air back into the kiln via circulation pipes. Internal circulation fans ensure continuous air movement for uniform wood heating throughout the drying process.
System Configuration
This large-scale wood drying equipment consists of two main components: the combustion system and the drying kiln structure. Multiple combustion methods are available to suit different operational requirements.
Moisture Control System
During the drying cycle, moisture removal is managed through strategically placed ventilation holes in the kiln roof and an integrated dehumidifier system, allowing precise control over the drying rate.
