The drive sprocket is manufactured to OEM specifications to better match the machine, undergoes an initial forming and forging process, and then undergoes specialized heat treatment to enhance its performance. Sufficient carbon content is essential to prevent brittleness during hardening. No matter the operating conditions, whether it's dirt, mud, clay, gravel or sand, sprockets are built for superior service life and performance.

Note:

Sprockets should be replaced along with rubber tracks. If new sprockets are installed on old rubber tracks, premature failure may result because the alignment of the drive teeth and track chain links will not align properly. The track will eventually slide up and down on the drive teeth instead of gently applying the proper torque to rotate the track. We always recommend installing rubber tracks and sprockets to extend the life of both components.
