3 . Properties of  Disperse Dyes:

01 lifting force

definition of lifting power:Lifting power is one of the important properties of disperse dyes. This property indicates that when each dye is applied to dyeing or printing, the amount of dye is gradually increased, and the depth of the color on the fabric (or yarn) is correspondingly increased. For dyes with good lifting power, the dyeing depth increases according to the proportion of dyes, indicating that there is better dyeing depth; dyes with poor lifting force have poor dyeing depth. When reaching a certain depth, the color will no longer increase with the increase of dye dosage.

02 coverage

What is the coverage of the dye?Like the dead cotton hiding property of reactive dyes or vat dyes when dyeing cotton, the hiding power of disperse dyes for poor quality polyester is referred to herein as covering power. Polyester (or vinegar) filament fabrics, including knitwear, often appear in color when dyed with disperse dyes. There are many reasons for the color file, some of which belong to the woven fabric, and also because of the difference in fiber quality, which is exposed after dyeing.

03 dispersion stability

Dispersion stability of disperse dyes:The disperse dye is poured into water and then dispersed into fine particles. The particle size distribution is developed according to the binomial formula with an average value of 0.5 to 1 micron. The high quality commercial dyes are very close in size and have a high percentage, which can be indicated by the particle size distribution curve. Dyes with poor particle size distribution, with coarse particles of different sizes, also have poor dispersion stability. If the particle size greatly exceeds the average range, fine particle recrystallization may occur. As the recrystallized large particles increase, the dye precipitates and deposits on the walls of the dyeing machine or on the fibers.

Both T400 and T800 fabrics have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the demand for fabrics varies from garment to garment. Therefore, both of them have a boom in the market. According to the usual practice, garment production in the second half of the year will be launched in late August and early September, while the autumn and winter fabrics will be windbreakers, jackets, down jackets and cotton clothes. The T800 is the best choice for fabrics. Therefore, the demand for the T800 has increased in the near future.
