1-piece Stainless Steel Ball Valve is the most cost-effective valve to control flow. The valve body, ball and stem are all stainless steel, and the robust one-piece type body with All PTFE packing, washer and gaskets, provides bubble-tight shutoff at 1000 psi.

The result of the valve body being one piece is that a smaller ball has to be used, leading to a reduced port, which is also called a reduced bore or a standard bore. Stainless steel 1-piece ball valves are used in general industrial and chemical applications and are primarily used manually.
