Technical Design & Structure
The gyrator components are primarily installed within the vertical shaft box. A small bevel gear mounts onto the inner gear shaft via spline connection. The ring seat features a ring-shaped "T" bolt combined with five additional "T" bolts for secure sleeve fixation. Adjustable tilt angle capability enables precise angular drilling operations.

Assembly Integration & Operation
The gyrator connects to the gearbox via eight bolts securing the turret seat to the gearbox body. The large bevel gear interfaces with the vertical bushing through a key connection, while the vertical bushing engages with the vertical car via hexagonal hole, transmitting rotational force to the vertical shaft. Axial movement is achieved through piston rod and beam actuation within the cylinder's upper and lower chambers.
The top shaft terminates with a top sleeve containing six steel balls. When the anti-manipulation handle is depressed, the steel balls engage with the drill pipe's semicircular communication groove, securing the drill pipe for machine operation. Handle release disengages the steel balls for drill pipe removal.
Maintenance Guidelines
- Regularly inspect all bolts, nuts, and pipeline connections for tightness
- Monitor wind motor lubricating oil condition consistently
- Use large-diameter drill heads when working in submerged conditions, keeping drill pipe 1-2 meters above water level
- Avoid reverse operation during drilling to prevent drill pipe detachment
- For short stops, maintain minimal air pressure; for extended shutdowns, lift percussion device 1-2 meters from hole bottom
