This electrical power pipe slotting machine is designed for fabricating water well slotted liners with straight slots cut through the pipe wall. Straight slots offer superior wear resistance compared to keystone slots and are more cost-effective to produce. The machine handles pipe diameters up to 12 inches and can process lengths up to 46 feet in a single operation.
The equipment features exceptional rigidity and stability, enabling precise milling tolerances that produce clean openings with consistent slot widths and lengths. A unique hydraulic clamping system securely holds and straightens the casing without damaging the pipe or slots. High-speed steel circular saws perform the cutting operations while liquid coolant maintains the pipe's metallurgical integrity throughout the process.
