Construction Details
BS steel fire doors feature robust construction with multiple fire-resistant layers and components:
- Door Leaf: 55mm total thickness with 43mm magnesium oxide fire door core board
- Face Panels: 0.8mm galvanized steel sheets on both sides
- Fireproof Adhesive: Applied between all layers for enhanced fire resistance
- Astragal: 0.8mm galvanized steel with smoke intumescent seal
