Scope of application of quartz sand filter

It is suitable for the filtration of drinking water and other water purification treatments, and it is more suitable for the pre-treatment and circulating water treatment of production water in petroleum, chemical industry, mining, metallurgy, thermoelectricity, printing and dyeing, tanning, food, etc., as well as the recycling of sewage.

Other uses of quartz sand: Quartz sand is used to make glass, refractory materials, ceramics, smelting ferrosilicon, floor, architectural coatings, casting, grinding, etc.

Technical parameters of quartz sand filter:

1. Design filtration rate: 8-12m/h. When the head loss is about 5m, backwash regeneration is required (usually by reading the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet at 0.05MP).

2. Anti-cleaning intensity: 10-15L/sec•m².

3. Rinsing duration: 5-7 minutes
4. Inlet water pressure: ≥0.4Mpa Backwashing water pressure: ≥0.20Mpa
5. The expansion rate is 25%-50%.
