Product Description of Molecular Sieve Desiccant

The molecular sieve binder is selected from kaolin or attapulgite. After baking at high temperature, it is naturally cooled to room temperature in a sealed jar, and then it is shipped from the factory. It has the characteristics of high strength and strong water absorption. It is mainly used in automobile braking systems, gas drying systems and dry pneumatic braking systems of automobiles, heavy trucks, trains and ships.
It can exhibit high water absorption at low partial pressures and temperatures up to 100 °C.

The adsorption of different molecules by Molecular Sieves is affected by the following parameters:

1. Zeolite type.
2. Effective pore diameter.
3. Molecular shape and its critical diameter.
4. Chemical structure and molecules polarity.
5. Concentration or partial pressure of the adsorbate.
5. Operating temperature.

Molecular Sieves differ from other adsorbents in the shape of their isotherms which show a high adsorption capacity for relatively low concentrations of the adsorbate (adsorbed product). At the same time, with temperature increase, the adsorption capacity of molecular sieves decrease much slower than others adsorbents.
