Product Description of 4A Molecular Sieve Desiccant
Adsorption-Carrier Effect of Surfactants
Due to the pore structure of the 4A molecular sieve crystal and the large specific surface area of the particles, the 4A molecular sieve has strong adsorption properties. For the adsorption of nonionic surfactants, 4A molecular sieve is 3 times that of NTA (secondary amino triacetate) and sodium carbonate, and 5 times that of STPP and sodium sulfate.
This property is used for agglomeration molding. It would make sense to produce more concentrated surfactants in high concentration detergents to produce products with good wash and flow properties. Liquid carrying capacity of 4A molecular sieve >30%.
Detergency
Through experiments, adding different additives to the same formula can change the detergency of the additives. The study found that the decontamination effect of 20% STPP, 20% molecular sieve and 4% polymer was comparable to that of 40% STPP. Combined with molecular sieves, products with excellent detergency can be obtained.
