Mechanical Expansion and Load Distribution:
Available in 4-way and 8-way plate configurations, the anchor features heavily ribbed blades stamped from high-strength carbon steel. Once lowered to the bottom of the augered hole, a mechanical tamping tool is used to strike the anchor base. This action forces the blades to expand outward and bite deeply into the solid, undisturbed earth walls. The multiple-blade design ensures that the tension load from the guy wire is distributed evenly across a large surface area of soil, maximizing pull-out resistance.
