A: 1. The tape be used to fix the detector is water-proof. It can work in wet environment for 2years.
2. At the same time, on the bottom of the detector, there is an installation hole for screw installation. If you want to make the installation being more stable, you can use a screw to fix it on the ground.
Q: If it has detected a water leak one time, can it still be used then?
A: The detector can work for years, only the filter cartridge in it is doing one time job. Once the detector cut off the water, you should change the filter cartridge in its next work time
