The SED-JPG-2 Capsule Polishing Machine is a versatile, high-speed solution designed to elevate the quality standards of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production. Working Principle
The SED-JPG-2 utilizes a rotating brush system to drive capsules in a circular spiral path along the polishing tube. As the capsules advance through the spiral spring, the constant friction between the brush and the tube wall buffs the shell to a high shine.
During this process:
- Polishing: Dust is scrubbed off and pulled through small perforations in the cylinder wall into a vacuum system
- Sorting: Lightweight, unqualified capsules (underfilled or empty) are lifted by negative pressure and diverted into a waste collector
- Discharge: Heavy, qualified capsules continue their descent through the movable hopper for the next stage of production
