Corrosion Resistance
Quartz glass exhibits no chemical reaction with acids except hydrofluoric acid. Its acid resistance is 30 times greater than ceramic and 150 times superior to stainless steel. The material maintains exceptional chemical stability even at low temperatures, outperforming all other engineering materials.
Thermal Stability
The low thermal contraction coefficient enables quartz glass to withstand severe temperature variations. Quartz glass heated to 1100℃ will not crack or burst when immersed in cold water.
Optical Transmission
Quartz glass provides excellent light transmittance across all spectral bands from ultraviolet to infrared. Visible light transmittance exceeds 93%, with maximum ultraviolet spectral transmittance reaching over 80%.
Electrical Insulation
Quartz glass offers electrical resistance 10,000 times greater than ordinary glass, maintaining superior electrical performance even at low temperatures.
