KLD806 80G FM Radar Level Sensor
Introduction

Silo radar level measurement uses a pulse generator and a grain bin fill sensor to determine the level of solids present in the silo. The pulse is transmitted down a contact cable or rod, then returns when it encounters the change in dielectric marked by the shift from air to the grain.

Feature
  1. Measure the level of solid particles, chemical liquid tank, oil tank and process containers.
  2. Radar level meter is working based on electromagnetic wave. So it could have max 120m measure range.
  3. Compared with other type level meter, 80G radar level meter could measure different kinds of oil, chemical liquids, solid powder,and many other mediums.
  4. 80G radar level meter could work in harsh working condition. It won't be affected by temperature, pressure and humidity. With PTFE horn, it even could work in corrosive condition, such as acid liquid.
  5. Customer also could choose different connection methods, such as flange, thread, bracket.

1.Flange Installation

When using flange installation, the minimum distance between the instrument and the tank wall should be 200mm.

2.Hoisting Installation
Installation Requirements

When installing the instrument, avoid installing it above the material inlet, and try to avoid various objects that affect the signal, such as stirring paddles, etc.

Under extremely complex working conditions, the instrument can work normally if there is no obstacle in the area with a radius of 20cm centered on the installation point.

The maximum installation spool height H max depends on the installation spool diameter D and the size of the product launch angle.

Too long installation connection will affect the radar performance.
