slurry coriolis mass flow is also called the Coriolis mass flowmeter, modulation by fluid mass flow on the vibration tube oscillation is the Coriolis force phenomenon as the principle, to the quality of flow measurement for the purpose of mass flowmeter, generally by the sensor and transmitter.
Advantage
- slurry coriolis mass flow directly measures the mass flow rate, and has high measurement accuracy
- A wide range of fluid can be measured, including a variety of high viscosity liquid, containing solids slurry, containing trace amounts of liquid gas, there is a high density of medium and high pressure gas
- The vibration amplitude of the measuring tube is small, and it can be regarded as a non moving part, and there are no obstacles and movable parts in the pipeline
- It is not sensitive to the distribution of the velocity of the flow, so it is required for the upstream and downstream straight pipe section
- The measured value is not sensitive to the viscosity of the fluid, and the change of fluid density has little effect on the value of the measurement
- Multi parameter measurements can be made, such as the measurement density, and thus the concentration of the solute in the solution is derived
shortcoming
- The zero drift of the zero point of the slurry coriolis mass flow is the formation of the zero drift, which affects the further improvement of the accuracy, so that many models have to use the total error is divided into two parts, the basic error and zero instability
- The Coriolis mass flowmeter cannot be used for the measurement of low density and low pressure gases. The gas content in the liquid exceeds a certain limit (depending on the model) which will significantly affect the measured value
- Coriolis mass flowmeter is sensitive to external vibration interference. In order to avoid the influence of pipeline vibration, most of the flow sensors of the mass flowmeter of the Coriolis type are installed and fixed
- Can not be used for large diameter, is still limited to 150 (200) mm below
- The measurement of the inner wall of the tube will affect the accuracy of the measurement, especially for the Coriolis mass flowmeter of the thin-walled tube
- High pressure loss, and volume meter, some models of Coriolis mass flowmeter and specific volume meter 100%.
- Most of the slurry coriolis mass flow are larger in weight and volume
- The price is very expensive. The price of foreign countries is 5000 to $10000. It is about 2 to 5 times of the same caliber electromagnetic flowmeter, and the domestic price is about 2 ~ 8 times of the electromagnetic flowmeter
