Introduction
The ultrasonic distance sensor operates by transmitting ultrasonic pulses to the target object and receiving the echo formed by the object. By measuring the time difference between transmission and reception, the distance between the transducer and the object's surface can be calculated using the speed of sound in the medium. The distance (D) is determined by the formula D = C * t / 2, where C is the speed of sound, and t is the time taken.
The M30 ultrasonic distance sensor utilizes ultrasonic echo ranging and precise time difference measurement technology to accurately detect the distance between the sensor and the target object. It offers advantages such as precise measurement, non-contact operation, waterproofing, corrosion resistance, low cost, and a minimal blind area. Installation conditions
If the sensor is installed at the environment temperature fall below 0℃,It should do well on the protective measures. In case of direct mounting of the sensor in a through hole using the steel nuts, it has to be fixed at the middle of the housing thread.
