Introduction

IMU-500 is an inertial measuring system, and it is based on the Optolink TRS-500 3-axis closed loop fiber-optic gyroscope and three AT-1104 precision accelerometers. Meanwhile, IMU-500 is a solid-states closed loop fiber-optic gyroscope, having the advantage of the long lifespan, high reliability and low price after bulk order. IMU-500 is known as the smallest closed loop fiber-optic gyroscope, it is based on the Sagnac Effect. That is making the same light source broken up into 2 beams of light, and let them rendezvous when they circulate one cycle along the opposite direction in the same loop circle, and then resulting interference on the screen.
