The rupture disc safety circulating valve is a specialized tool used in drill stem testing operations, serving dual functions as both a safety valve and circulating valve. This 5-inch model provides reliable pressure control and emergency circulation capabilities in high-pressure, high-temperature environments.
Product Overview
When annulus pressure reaches predetermined values, this safety valve automatically isolates the workstring below the tool while establishing communication between the annulus and workstring above. The valve can also be converted to a dedicated circulating valve by removing the ball valve section and attaching the lower adapter.

- Power Section: Features power mandrel case and rupture disc rated for various pressure applications. Disc rupture triggers automatic valve closure and port opening.
- Circulating Section: Contains precision ports that expose when rupture disc bursts, enabling annulus-to-workstring communication.

Operation Guidelines
Prior to deployment, operating pressure must be calculated based on mud weight, bottom hole temperature, testing depth, and maximum annulus pressure. When used with annulus pressure-operated valves, maintain safety valve operating pressure 1,000 PSI above tester valve operating pressure.
