The 5-inch sleeve type drain valve manufactured from Inconel alloy steel is specifically designed for drill stem testing operations in Full H2S service environments. Upon completion of testing operations, the drain valve efficiently recovers large volume fluid samples for analysis.

Operation Procedure
The sleeve type drain valve is installed between any two valves in the drill string. When the ports in the sleeve align with the ports in the tool body, fluid drainage occurs. After testing operations conclude and the valve reaches the surface, samples can be safely collected and any trapped pressure can be vented securely. The drain collar is installed around the drain sleeve, while the drain nipple screws into the threaded hole in the drain sleeve body.
