The hydraulic jar serves as a critical safety tool in drill stem testing operations, designed to free stuck tools through controlled impact forces. Available in 3 7/8-inch and 5-inch sizes to accommodate various well requirements.

• Hydraulic pump: 5L/minute capacity, working pressure above 20,000 PSI
• 780KN pulling delay mechanism
• Air compressor: Working pressure above 150 PSI (1MPa)
• Complete test system including power supply, clamps, test caps, pressure gauges, box spanners, pressure collection system, high-pressure pipes, sensors, computer, and printer

• Fill hydraulic oil through outer case filler plug, bleed air from splined case plug
• Conduct 10 consecutive pull time-delay tests with 222.2kN (50,000 lbs) pull strength
• Record time-delay measurements, ensuring each subsequent test shows reduced delay time
• Final time-delay should measure 1-2 minutes

• Gradually increase pressure during testing: hold at 30MPa for one minute, then increment by 10MPa with one-minute holds until reaching rated pressure
• Position tool in test pit with protective board covering pressure test plug
• Maintain safe distance from plugs and joints throughout testing
• Establish isolation zones in test areas with restricted access
