This full-opening design lock open tester valve operates via annulus pressure and is specifically engineered for cased hole DST operations. Operation with Multi-cycle Circulating Valve
During cased hole drill stem testing operations using a Multi-cycle Circulating Valve with the Select Tester Valve, operating pressure management is critical. The Select Tester Valve utilizes significantly lower operating pressures compared to traditional LPR-N or Multi-cycle Circulating Valves.
Select in Normal Mode
- Apply normal operating pressure + 300 psi maximum on initial pressure increase
- Wait 5 minutes
- Apply additional pressure in stages of 100 psi per minute
Select in Locked Open Mode
- Apply operating pressure + 400 psi maximum on initial pressure increase
- Wait 5 minutes
- Apply additional pressure in stages of 100 psi per minute
