LPR-N Tester Valve - 15000 PSI Downhole Master Valve for Oil Well Testing with 5.03" OD and 450°F Temperature Rating
The LPR-N Tester Valve is a full-opening annulus pressure-operated downhole master valve designed for drill stem testing operations in cased holes where a full-opening test string is required. This valve enables multiple closed-in pressure measurements during oil well testing procedures.
The LPR-N Valve consists of three integrated sections:
- Ball Valve Section
- Power/Nitrogen Section
- Metering Section
The ball valve section contains the ball valve and mechanical components that control ball rotation. When activated, the ball rotates to the open position, allowing reservoir fluids to flow into the test string. The tool can be configured to run in either closed or open position, with normal operation mode enabling ball opening when annulus pressure is applied and closing when pressure is released.

- Apply pressure gradually during testing - hold at 20MPa for one minute, then increment by 10MPa with one-minute holds until reaching rating pressure
- Position tool in test pit with protective board covering pressure test plug
- Maintain safe distance from plugs and joints throughout testing process
- Establish isolation zones in test areas with restricted access
- Ensure test products remain contained within designated areas
