RD Sampler APR Drill Stem Testing Tools
The RD Sampler is a high-pressure rupture disk component designed for drill stem testing operations. This alloy steel sampler captures formation fluid samples under pressure during downhole testing services, featuring a 1,200-cc sample chamber that provides sufficient capacity for two 500-cc non-monophasic bulk samples.

Rupture Disk Selection Guidelines
Proper rupture disk selection requires knowledge of downhole temperature, hydrostatic pressure, and maximum operation pressure of other annulus-pressure-operated tools. Each approved rupture disk includes pressure-temperature curves from actual testing with 3% tolerance, with temperature and average burst pressure stamped directly on the disk for accurate field identification.
