Heavy Duty Hydraulic Disconnect for Coiled Tubing Operations
The Heavy Duty Hydraulic Disconnect (HDHD) is an essential component of coiled tubing strings, engineered to withstand high tension and torque loads during demanding oilfield operations.
Operating Principle
Disconnection is initiated by dropping a ball that seats on the pressure seat. This action shears the pin, moves the pressure sleeve downward, and allows the tool to disengage with a clear upward indication. The upper section features a standard "GS" fishing neck for easy retrieval operations.
