Product Description
The High Pressure Double Grip Mechanical Retrievable Packer (RTTS packer) is a full-opening, hookwall packer designed for demanding oil well applications. This double-grip mechanical set packer provides reliable isolation for well testing, treating operations, and squeeze cementing procedures.
Operation and Function
The RTTS packer features a mechanical setting mechanism with J-slot positioning. When run into position, rotation and pipe weight activate the mechanical slips and compress the packer element against the casing wall, effectively isolating the annular space from the test zone. The integrated self-guard hydraulic hold-down mechanism prevents packer movement during high-pressure operations by engaging additional slips against the casing interior.
