Full Bore Retrievable RD Circulating Valve Overview
The APR Tools Full Bore Retrievable Circulating Valve is designed for drill stem testing operations with RTTS packers. This industrial-grade valve automatically locks closed when the packer is unset, enabling fluid reversal around the packer bottom. The full bore design accommodates tubing-type guns and wireline equipment passage.
RTTS Circulating Valve Operation
During packer setting, the RTTS circulating valve automatically locks in the closed position. This locking mechanism prevents accidental valve opening during well testing and squeezing operations. The optional straight J-slot configuration eliminates the need for tubing rotation to close the valve or reset the packer after cement displacement.

HSE Safety Testing Instructions
- Gradually increase pressure during testing: hold at 20MPa for one minute, then maintain each 10MPa increment for one minute until reaching rating pressure
- Position tool in test pit with protective board covering pressure test plug
- Ensure all operators maintain safe distance from plugs and joints during testing
- Establish isolation zones in test areas with restricted access
- Implement additional isolation measures if personnel are present in test vicinity
