Internal/External Type Gauge Carrier c/w 4 gauges reading tubing & Annulus Pressure

The Gauge carriers are used to carry pressure or tempeature gauges in the flow steam to monitor downhole conditions while maintaining a full opening through the tools, base on different design the gauges can read tubing or Annlus data.

The internal type gauge carrier normally is designed for holding small size gauges due to the carrier OD strict to run in hole. The gauges will be fully protected by carrier house, 1 to 4 gauges can be hold and allow to read tubing or annlus pressure in one run.

The external type gauge carrier is designed for holding large size gauges upto 1.27"OD. Normally external gauge carriers that have an offset OD and can carry two or four max.65" electronic or mechanical gauges in the standard 5" OD carrier. The OD of the carrier is offset from the ID. The ID of the tool is concentric with the tubing string so that fullbore is always maintained for wireline tool or Drop-bar passage. 

The connection from gauges to carrier is various, can be from Pressure Block with ports torward tubing or annulus, or with extra adapter or crossvers with different box-pin connection, those adapters can be solid type or quick union, moreover special T type adapters are available which is more reliable when tubing pressure is high.
