Dimple Grub Screw Connector for Coiled Tubing Tools
The Dimple Grub Screw Connector is a specialized coiled tubing connector designed for secure attachment between coiled tubing and workstring components. This connector utilizes grub screws that engage with pre-formed dimples in the tubing wall, providing a reliable 5000psi working pressure connection.
Operation Process
  • Use a pressing tool to create dimples on the coiled tubing surface
  • Install 16 fastening screws into the dimples for secure connection
  • Grind and chamfer the tubing end to ensure smooth O-ring contact surface
  • Nest the joint and tighten all screws to complete installation
