Before Surgery

• Safety and efficiency electric surgery rely on not only the designation of the device, also the control ability of users.
• Only people trained and familiar with the relevant surgery can use this therapy instrument for surgery.
• Before any surgery, take the medical literature on techniques, complications and hazards for reference.
• Evaluate patients’ medical problems which may be exacerbated by surgery stress.
• Medical stuff totally understanding to electric surgery theory and techniques is essential to avoid damage to this system and other devices. Ensure the insulation and bottom base of machine is out of damage.
• Using devices and accessories producing by other companies, please confirm the compatibility before surgery.
• Before each use, all the indicators and sound signals of the machine are normal. Make sure that the power cord is properly connected to the host socket.
• Fire / Explosion Hazard: The following substances will contribute to increased fire and explosion hazards in the operating room:

• Flammable substances (such as alcohol based skin prepping agents and tinctures)

• Naturally occurring flammable gases which may accumulate in body cavities such as the bowel

• Oxygen enriched atmospheres

• Oxidizing agents (such as nitrous oxide [N₂O] atmospheres)

The sparking and heating associated with electric surgery can provide an ignition source. Observe fire precautions at all times. When using electric surgery in the same room with any of these substances or gases, prevent their accumulation or pooling under surgical drapes, or within the area where electric surgery is performed.
