The 1100 aluminum coil (commercially pure ≥99.00% Al) in 0.4-1.2 mm thickness is the global benchmark alloy for applications requiring maximum formability, including deep drawing, spinning, bending, stamping and roll forming operations.
This non-heat-treatable alloy is soft and ductile, particularly in O temper condition, with the slowest work-hardening rate among aluminum alloys. This makes it ideal for intricate, multi-stage forming operations without cracking or excessive thinning.
