Working Principle Description:
Both nitrogen and oxygen have quadrupole moments. Since the quadrupole moment of nitrogen (0.31 a) is much larger than that of oxygen (0.10 a), the adsorption capacity of molecular sieve for nitrogen is stronger than that of oxygen. When air passes through the adsorption bed equipped with molecular sieve under pressure, nitrogen is adsorbed by molecular sieve and flows out of the adsorption bed due to less oxygen adsorption, so as to separate nitrogen and obtain oxygen. When the molecular sieve adsorbs nitrogen to near saturation, stop the input of air and reduce the pressure of the adsorption bed, the nitrogen adsorbed by the molecular sieve can be desorbed, and the molecular sieve can be regenerated and reused. The equipment passes through the adsorption tower, one tower adsorbs and produces oxygen, the other tower desorbs and regenerates, and the cycle is alternating to continuously produce oxygen.
