The WQX series multistage submersible sewage pumps are engineered for demanding municipal water supply applications, featuring stainless steel 304 construction and versatile installation options.
Case Study: Cambodia Mekong River Project
In 2017, we successfully supplied submersible pumps for municipal water supply in Phnom Penh, pumping water from the Mekong River. The project required large capacity pumps with 600m³/hr flow rate and 45m head specifications.
Technical Solution
Initially, standard WQ series pumps were considered, but the client required sled installation capability. Our engineering team developed the WQX600-45 model with ball bearing design, supporting vertical, horizontal, or sled installation configurations.
Key Achievement: Successfully manufactured and tested the WQX600-45 model with 125kW motor power, exceeding standard 110kW limitations for bottom suction submersible sewage pumps.
Subsequent Orders
Following successful implementation, the client placed additional orders for multiple models:
- WQX400-45 (400m³/hr, 45m head)
- WQX450-25 (450m³/hr, 45m head)
- WQX500-45 (500m³/hr, 45m head)
