The twin screw barrel is a cylindrical metal component with openings at both ends. Its inner cavity is precisely machined to allow smooth rotation of the twin screws.

Manufactured from high-strength, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, the inner wall receives specialized hardening treatment to deliver exceptional durability.

Extrusion & Molding:

Creates a sealed chamber for the complete extrusion process, including feeding, melting, mixing, homogenization and venting. The material is finally formed into the desired shape via the die head.

Temperature Control:

As one of the barrel’s core functions, it uses an external heating and cooling system to accurately regulate material temperature, ensuring stable plasticization and optimal processing performance.

Shearing & Mixing:

The barrel inner wall works with the screw to generate strong shearing force. The relative movement between the rotating screw and fixed barrel delivers efficient shearing, mixing and compaction of materials.
