Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. This high alloy steel contains copper additions that enhance resistance to strong reducing acids like sulfuric acid. The material offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, and is non-magnetic with superior formability, toughness, and weldability characteristics.
