Iron-nickel alloy Invar 36 (4J36/UNS K93600) plate designed for thermostats and precision instrumentation applications requiring minimal thermal expansion.
Product Overview
A nickel-iron low expansion alloy containing 36% nickel that maintains nearly constant dimensions over normal atmospheric temperature ranges. Features a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to approximately 500°C while retaining excellent strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures.
