Material Overview
4J36 Invar 36 is a 36% nickel-iron alloy with a thermal expansion rate approximately one-tenth that of carbon steel at temperatures up to 204°C (400°F). This austenitic alloy maintains excellent strength, toughness, and ductility while providing useful corrosion resistance.
