Projection Welding KCF Insulation Pins for Automotive Manufacturing
KCF guide sleeves have been used in resistance welding applications for several decades. Unlike coatings, KCF is the actual material composition - a ferritic stainless alloy enhanced with chromium, aluminum, and other specialized elements. Through a specialized high-temperature heat treatment process, aluminum migrates to the surface and combines with oxygen to form aluminum oxide, creating a durable insulated surface layer 20-30 micrometers thick.
