1 . Description

The single-fighted screw element is mostly used in the feeding section of the twin-screw extruder. This is to increase the storage space in each lead, that is, to have greater screw free volume in the space of the same diameter and length, to make the newly added material transfer faster. There is also commonly used in the feeding and conveying of powder materials with a particularly low bulk density to compensate for the decrease in the output of the twin screw host. The cross section of this screw sleeve is sickle-shaped, which can still ensure the self-cleaning of the two screw teeth in the axial and normal directions.
